Wilma M. “Billie” Kuhlmann, 93, of Tekamah NE, Formerly of Sioux City IA

WILMA M. “BILLIE” KUHLMANN, 93 years, of Tekamah, Nebraska, formerly of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Tekamah.

Billie was born May 27, 1921, in Tekamah, Nebraska, the daughter of Gilbert and Bessie Odella (Bowden) Erlewine. She attended Tekamah schools.

In 1953, Billie married Henry Kuhlmann, Jr. at Blair, Nebraska. They moved to Sioux City, Iowa, where Billie resided until entering Golden Living Center in Tekamah several years ago. Billie was a real people person and in addition to selling Avon products for several years, she also cashiered for businesses in the Sioux City area. She was a Red Cross volunteer and at one time was on the Woodbury County Red Cross Disaster Team. When she wasn’t busy working or volunteering, Billie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

, Eva Marr, Mary Gill, JoAnn Lydick and Kay Erlewine; husband, Henry; and son, Michael Kuhlmann; son-in-law, Norman Larson.

Survivors include her son, Hank Kuhlmann and his partner, Donald-Brian Johnson of Omaha; daughter, Michelle “Mickey” Larson of Tekamah; sister, Rose Reyzlik of Herman, NE; four grandchildren, Tim (Kris) Larson of St. Joseph, MO, Deanna Larson of Omaha, Amber Cerv of Winner, SD, Tiffany (Aaron) Bonnes of Sioux City, IA; and eight great grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday, November 26, 2014, 2:00 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Home in Tekamah.

VISITATION: Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

BURIAL: Tekamah Cemetery
