Heat advisory

Burt, Thurston and Cuming Counties in Nebraska, are in a heat advisory until Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. The humidity is expected to be high, and temperatures will be in the 90’s, with heat indexes expected to be from 100-105.

People are urged to stay inside, in air conditioning and drink plenty of fluids. If you are outside, wear loose, light colored clothing and avoid direct sunlight, and again, drink plenty of fluids.
