A benefit for the David Rief family is Mon., Sept. 9th from 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Lyons City Auditorium. NorthStar and the Green Light Job Club are putting the benefit on. Food will be served. A $7 donation in requested. David Rief was in a farm accident on July 14, 2013.

I am a graduate of Northeast Community College with a degree in journalism. I am married to Jeff Gilliland. We have two grown children, Justin and Whitney and four grandchildren, Grayce, Grayhm, Charli and Penelope. I will be covering Lyons, Decatur, Bancroft and Rosalie and am hoping to expand my horizons as time progresses!
