Devan Collins receives award at Last Fling til Spring

Devan Collins of Lyons participated in the 24th annual Last Fling Til Spring held in West Point Sun., Sept. 14th.

His entry was a 1951 Chevrolet pickup. “I have had it for a year and a half. I restored the interior, the wood in the back, cleaned up the motor, put new tires and rims,” Devan stated. “It only has 48,000 original miles.”

He also earned an award for all of his efforts. “I received the class ward. This was the first time in any car show,” Devan said.

Devan’s hard work also benefitted him in other ways. “The experience that I had was amazing,” Devan stated. Talking to people with their trucks like mine and answering questions and explaining what I have done to my truck was great.”
