Remembering John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Friday, November 22nd marks 50 years since the assassination of President Kennedy. I have decided to take this week and reflect back on his life and death. If you would have any memories you would like to share, please feel free to do so. i was only a few months old the day he died, so I don’t remember it. If you do and would like to share “where you were when” memories, I would love to publish them for others to read. Thank you. I will start with one fact and add others today and each day through Friday, and other things as I research and find them. I have a commemorative 25 year edition book about President Kennedy, now 25 years older, that I have been reading again too.

The first fact of today is:

John Kennedy was elected in 1960 as the 35th president of the United States. At the age of 43, John F. Kennedy became the youngest man and the first Roman Catholic to hold that office.
