I am a graduate of Northeast Community College with a degree in journalism. I am married to Jeff Gilliland. We have two grown children, Justin and Whitney and four grandchildren, Grayce, Grayhm, Charli and Penelope. I will be covering Lyons, Decatur, Bancroft and Rosalie and am hoping to expand my horizons as time progresses!

I happen to be a bit of photography junky, and growing up in this area, you always are drawn to agricultural photos. I really like the one of the power lines – the contrast of vivd brown (orange field) against the blue sky is pretty sweet. You obviously took some photography courses. The power lines add perspective, and make an interesting statement about how the worlds of today’s technological advances are clashing with our natural surroundings. Cool pic. Do you think an 8×10 would print out ok? How much are photos, and do I just order them from your site?
