Richard Launsby of Lyons NE

Richard Launsby was born in the Early 1940’s in Lyons Nebraska to Rudolph and Jeannette Launsby.  He was their oldest son.  Richard graduated from Lyons High School.  He passed away this week at the Golden Living Center in Broken Bow, Nebraska. As a kid Richard was a big supporter of Nebraska football and a fan of the San Francisco Giants baseball team.  He had aspirations of being a professional athlete as a young person but was impacted in this pursuit by the impact of polio that he suffered from as a child.  Richard is survived by numerous brothers, one sister, and many nieces and nephews.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Pelan Fuenral Services in Lyons, Nebraska

BURIAL: Lyons Cemetery
