Josh was baptized and confirmed in Christ at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oakland, Nebraska. He was a proud 2106 graduate of Oakland-Craig High School. Josh was currently a student at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, working toward a psychology degree.

Josh had a strong faith and a huge heart. He loved his family and friends. As a child he was active in cub scouts, baseball and hanging out at the pool. He loved the water and being outdoors. In college he participated in intramural sports, he was excited his football team won their division this year. Josh had his challenges in life, but he was a very determined young man and did not let anything stop him from what he wanted to achieve.
