.WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING… * WHAT…Near blizzard conditions possible. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph could cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant drifting of the snow is also possible. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with localized amounts up to 5 inches, and ice accumulations are possible. * WHERE…Portions of east central, northeast and southeast Nebraska. * WHEN…From late Friday night through Saturday evening. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Damage to trees and power lines is likely.
