Happenings at Oakland Heights

We have a couple of special events this week, on Thursday March 17^th at 2:30 pm is the St. Patrick’s Day party and then on Friday March 18^th is the annual Easter Bazaar from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. Next week we have many Easter services going on. On Thursday March 24^th is the Maundy Thursday Church service at 2:30 pm given by Pastor Hoden. Then on Friday March 25^th is the Good Friday Church service at 2:30 pm given by Pastor Hineline. Then on Easter Sunday March 27^th is an Easter Brunch for residents, family and friends starting at 8:00 am. We also have a resident celebrating a birthday, Delwin Benne on March 23^rd.

Church Service for Sunday March 20th at 2:30 pm will be given by the First Baptist Church with a luncheon served afterwards. On Monday March 21^st is Communion given by the First Lutheran Church at 2:30 pm. On Tuesday March 22^nd is Catholic Mass at 9:30 am given by Father Paul.

Activities for the week of March 14^th   to March 19^th are as follows, Reading with Marilyn, Manicures, Sing a Long, Coffee and Conversation. Bingo the w/Staff, Bible Fellowship, Saturday morning video, and Lawrence Walk.

This weekend is Daylight Savings time so we got to spring ahead. Next week is a busy week for us on Tuesday March 15^th we will be going to Golden Oaks for their Potluck dinner weather permitting. On Thursday March 17^th is our St. Patrick’s Day party at 2:30 pm. And on Friday March 18^th is our annual Easter Bazaar from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm., Saturday March 19^th the Rusty Buckets will be here to perform at 2:30 pm.

Church Service for Sunday March 13th at 2:30 pm will be given by the Salem Covenant Church with a luncheon served afterwards.

Activities for the week of March 14^th   to March 19^th are as follows, Reading with Marilyn, Manicures, Reminiscing group, Sing a Long, Trivia Day. Bingo the w/Salem, Bible Fellowship, Friday Bingo, Saturday morning video, and Lawrence Walk.
