Reminder: Oakland’s July 3rd Party in the Park!

Oakland’s Annual July 3rd Party in the Park begins at 5:00 p.m. today!
There will be food, bounce houses and many other activities for kids of all ages.
There will also be a beer garden sponsored by Groovy’s.
Fireworks will conclude the event.

“The Oakland Chamber of Commerce would like to invite everyone for food, fireworks and fun!” stated David Deemer, co-president of the Oakland Chamber of Commerce about the July 3rd Party in the Park being held in Oakland this Thursday.
Along with the food and fireworks, there will be many fun activities for people of all ages. “From 6:00-8:00 p.m. there will be disc golf, as long as the park is in decent shape,” Deemer said. “At 8:00 p.m. there will be water fights and at 8:30 p.m. there will be games for all ages. A DJ will be set up by the beer garden also.”
A bounce house will once again be one of the main attractions for those of a younger age to enjoy jumping around on.
Everyone is invited to attend the July 3rd Party in the Park!
