We have a fun week ahead .Our Valentine Party on Friday February 13^th at 2:30 pm were we will be crowning the Oakland Heights King and Queen at the party, then on Saturday February 14^th we will be having a special valentine Supper at 5:30 pm for the residents. Next week is our monthly Waffle Supper on Thursday February 19^th at 5; 30 pm and then on Saturday 21^st at 2:30 pm the Rusty Buckets will be here to entertain. We also have a special birthday coming up next week Wilma Neitzke will be celebrating her 102^nd Birthday on February 20^th.

Church Service for Sunday February 15^th at 2:30 pm will be given by the Eilm Lutheran Church with a luncheon served afterwards. On Monday February 16^th at 2:30 pm is communion with First Lutheran and on Wednesday February 18^th at 2:30 pm is an Ash Wednesday serve given by Pastor Hoden.

Activities for the week of February16th to February 21st are as followed, Reading with Marilyn, Manicures, Sing a Long, Game Day, Show and Share, Word Games, Bingo w/Salem, Bible Fellowship, Let’s Play Ball, Crafty Cooking, Friday Bingo, Saturday morning movie, and Lawrence Walk.

Volunteers signing in last week were; Judy Nelson, Nadine Anderson, Betty Hanna, Bonnie Fleischman, Donna Baldwin; Mary Donavon, Lola Bridgeford, and Pat Anderson, and Sly Rouse.

Activity Memorial Fund

A Memorial was given by Pat Anderson in memory of Tom Tibbels.

There are a couple of activities for this week I would like to mention, we will be having the General Store for the residents on Thursday January 22^nd from 1:30pm to 3:30 pm. On Friday morning January 23^rd at 8:00 am the residents will be served Breakfast pizza for their Puttin on the Ritz meal for this month. Next week on Monday January 26^th at 2:30 pm is the Resident monthly Council meeting. On Thursday January 29^th at 2:30 we will be having a Snowman Party for the residents. We also have many residents celebrating their birthdays next week, starting with Delores Carlson January 27^th, Lillian Mueller January 28^th, Helen Jean Nelson on January 29^th and Margaret Moderow on January 31^st, Happy Birthday to all.

Church Service for Sunday January25th at 2:30 pm will be given by the Evangelical Free Church with a luncheon served afterwards.

Activities for the week of January 26^th  to January 30th are as followed, Reading with Marilyn, Manicures, Coffee and Conversation, Crafts, Bingo w/ Methodist, Bible Fellowship, Friday Bingo, Let’s Play Ball, Crafty Cooking, Saturday morning movie, and Lawrence Walk.

This week is our monthly Waffle Supper on Thursday January 15^th serving from 5:30 pm to 6:00 pm and on Saturday the Rusty Buckets will be here to perform at 2:30 pm and it is also the Staff Christmas Party at the Club, dinner to be served at 7:00pm. Next Week on Thursday January 22^nd the General Store will be open 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm for residents to come in and shop. On Friday January 23^rd is a special morning Puttin on the Ritz with Breakfast pizza being served at 8:00 am.

Church Service for Sunday January 18th at 2:30 pm will be given by the Baptist Church with refreshments served afterwards. On Monday January 19^th is communion with the First Lutheran Church at 2:30 pm.

Guest signing our book last we were: Ron and Mary Plageman to see Dorothy Larson, Rolly and Denise Church here to visit Muriel Rabe.

Happy New Year to everyone. Next week on Thursday January 15^th is our Monthly Waffle Supper at 5:30 pm. On Saturday January 17^{th at} 2:30 pm the Rusty Buckets will be here to perform also on Saturday is the staff Christmas party at the Golf Club, dinner at 7:00 pm. We would like to wish Tom Tibbels a Happy Birthday he celebrates his birthday on January 14^th.

On Tuesday January 13^th is Catholic Mass with Father Paul.

Happy Holiday’s to everyone, we will be having a Christmas Eve Service on Wednesday December 24^th at 2:30 pm given by Pastor Hoden. The residents will be enjoying a nice Christmas Dinner with turkey and all the trimmings.

Next week on Monday December 29 at 2:30 pm is our monthly resident council meeting, then on Wednesday December 31^st at 2:30 pm is the residents New Year’s eve party, also they will be having a special New Year’s Eve supper at 5:30 pm. There will be no scheduled activities for January 1^st New Year’s Day, activities will resume on Friday January 2^nd.
