River Flood Warning

The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a flood warning for the Missouri River at Decatur from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning or until the warning is cancelled.

At 2:00 p.m. today the stage was 26.5 feet or 8.5 feet below flood state. Flood stage is 35 feet.

Minor flooding is forecast. Rise above flood stage by Friday afternoon and continue to rise to near 36.1 feet by Saturday morning. The river will fall below flood stage by Sunday morning.This will impact local marinas, boat docks and low lying areas.
