Carolyn Elaine Lutes, 86 years, of Oakland, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Oakland Mercy Hospital in Oakland.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday, May 27, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at Salem Covenant Church, Oakland, Nebraska.

    Dear Family of Carolyn Lutes,

    I sent a card today, but also wanted to send this note of sympathy to all of you. Carolyn was such a special person to her brother, Jim, and to me. She was accepting, loving and so fun to be around. I’m sorry that Jims Alzheimer’s disease prevents him from sharing in your sadness and the celebration of her life. I was fortunte to share times with her both in Nebraska and here in Colorado. I hope your memories help to comfort you in your time of grief. I know she will be greatly missed!!
