Happenings at Oakland Heights

Well the fair raps up this week the residents had a good time down at the fair on Monday for pie and coffee, thank you to the volunteers for assisting us. On Thursday August 10^th Charlie Davis will be here to perform at 2:30 pm. On Friday August 12^th is the monthly Happy Hour starting at 2:30 pm. Next week on Thursday August 17^th is the monthly Waffle Supper serving at 5:30 pm, resident’s family and friends are invited to come up and have supper with them. On Saturday August 19^th at 2:30 pm Rusty Buckets will be here to perform.  We have a resident with a upcoming Birthday, Lois Anderson will be celebrating her Birthday on August 17^th.

Church Service for Sunday August 13^th will be given by the First United Methodist Church at 2:30 pm with a luncheon following service.

Activities for the week of August 14^th to August 19^th    are as follows, reading with Suzanne, Manicures, Reminiscing Group, Sing A Long, Game Day, Bingo the w/Salem, Reading Group, Bible Fellowship, Word Games, Let’s Play Ball, Crafty Cooking, Bingo. Saturday Movie, and Lawrence Walk.

Volunteers signing in last week were; Suzanne Sanderson, Cover McCauley, Bonnie Fleischman, Nadine Anderson, Sue Beckner, Di Ruwe, Judy Nelson, and Makayla Johnson.

Guest signing the guest book last week was; Mary Stuenkel and Brain Goracke to see Jene Hightree. Daniel, Nisha, Lane, Mary, Branson Fleischman to see Mildred Moseman.
