The National Weather Service in Omaha/Valley has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM this morning to 6 PM CST this evening. * TIMING...from mid morning through this afternoon. * WINDS...northwest at 30 to 35 mph with gusts to 40 to 45 mph. * IMPACTS...Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially those operating high-profile vehicles. Tie down loose items that might be blown about, and secure holiday decorations if possible. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 mph are expected for one hour or longer, or winds of 45 to 57 mph for any duration.
