In a week, the midway at the Burt County Fairgrounds will be full of people attending the many events and visiting the vendors in the expo hall and about the grounds. On the hill, all the animals will be in the buildings, ready to be judged, with their owners dutifully attending to them. The 4-H crew will have their items they have worked on all year in the 4-H building for all to see. The rides will be going and the Methodist Kitchen and 4-H kitchens will be buzzing with people from all over stopping in for fine food and visiting with others. It is what I consider a huge family reunion time, during the fair! Have a great time at the Burt County Fair all! Both photos credit of Denise Gilliland/Editor and Chief, Kat Country Hub.

Young 4-H members joined the approximately 100 4-H members, parents, leaders and volunteers on Sunday to help at the Burt County Fairgrounds cleanup day. Here Brylee Ahrens of Oakland and Gracie Klausen of West Point use the glove method to paint the gates and rails on the 4-H Horse Arena.
