Expect reduced visibilities at times. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Winter Storm Warning


Winter Storm Warning in effect from 3 am Monday to midnight CST Monday night… The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley has issued a Winter Storm Warning for a mix of winter weather…which is in effect from 3 am Monday to 12 am Tuesday. The Winter Storm Watch is no longer in effect.

Timing…a mixture of freezing rain…sleet…and snow should develop late tonight…then continue Monday into Monday evening. Freezing drizzle…freezing rain and periods of sleet are more likely tonight into early Monday…with snow becoming more likely by midday Monday through the evening.

Main impact…ice accumulation up to a tenth of an inch…and 3 to 5 inches of snow and sleet accumulation…are possible. Precautionary/preparedness actions… A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow… sleet…and ice are expected or occurring. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
