Myron Heise, age 82, of New York City, New York formerly of Bancroft, Nebraska passed away at his home in New York City, NY. on July 18th, 2016. Memorial date at Gallery 72 in Omaha, Nebraska has not been set.
He was born in Bancroft, Ne. to Ernest Heise and Margaret (English) Heise. He was a well known artist at Neihardt Center in Bancroft, Ne., Mona Museum of Nebraska Art in Kearney, NE. and Gallery 72 in Omaha, Ne. He was an original member of the New York Street Painters. Myron also served in the United States Army.
Survived by nephews: Warren (Debbie) Koehler of Omaha, Ne.; Kevin (Sonia) Koehler of Sioux Center, IA.; Gary (Kathy) Copple of Texas. Nieces: Charlene (Walt) Ogorek of Phoenix, AZ., Kaylene (“Bird”) Swanson of Oakland, NE., Connie (Ron) James of Bellevue, NE. and Vivian (Perry) Chandler of San Antonio, TX. and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Heise, Jr.; sisters Darlene Copple (Chuck) of Phoenix, AZ., Merle Harris, (Walt) of Omaha, Ne., Bonnie Koehler, (Wilmer) of Oakland and Neligh, Ne.
