Lois Mae (Webb) Stidd, 77, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2015 in Bullhead City, Arizona surrounded by her family. Inurnment will be held July 16, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill, Nebraska. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, Nebraska.
Lois was born March 10, 1938 in Macy, Nebraska to Albert and Francis Webb and was the 3rd of 10 children. She lived on her family’s farm near Macy until marrying Jim Stidd in 1957, they were married for 22 years. The family lived in Lincoln, Nebraska until moving to Upland, California in 1966 where they raised their three children. She left California for Albequerque, New Mexico in 1993 where she lived until 1998 when she moved to Phoenix, Arizona before moving and settling in Show Low, Arizona in 2005.
Those remaining to cherish Lois’ memory are her three children; Bob, Tim, Sheila and her husband Ken; four grandchildren, Aryne, Trevor, JR and Hunter; two great-grandchildren Brooklynn and Brody; one remaining sibling Wanda and her husband Don, her long-time companion Dwayne, numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and last but not least her beloved cats Gizmo, Tuxedo and Jack.
Lois is preceded in death by her parents Albert & Francis Webb, step-father Robert Dickison, four brothers James, Larry, Gary and John; three sisters Sarah, Laura and Rowena, and recently deceased Mary, as well as numerous beloved pets.
Inurnment will be held July 16, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill, Nebraska. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, Nebraska.

Marlin D. Nissen, 84 year, of Oakland, Nebraska, went to be with his Savior Jesus on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer, Nebraska.
Marlin was born October 7, 1931 in Oakland to Bodolf and Frances (Olson) Nissen. Marlin was baptized August 29, 1943 and was confirmed March 30, 1947 at the Westside Methodist Church. He graduated from the eighth grade at Rock School District #48, Oakland, in 1945. Marlin served in the US Army from 1952 through 1954, and was stationed in Southern Germany. In 1955, Marlin married LaVonne Peterson of Lyons, Nebraska. They farmed and raised livestock for many years. In 1968, a repair business was added to the farming, along with custom combining, and operating the township road grader. Marlin went full-time with his repair shop, Nissen Repair, in 1973 and continued his work until his retirement in 2013. He also maintained an Archer oil dealership for over 30 years.
Marlin was an active member of Salem Covenant Church and taught Adult Sunday School and served as Deacon. He served the community as chairman on the township board for 24 years and sexton of the cemetery at Westside for many years. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #5543.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, LeRoy, Danny and Myron; brothers-in-law, Duane and Arnie; sister-in-law, Prudy.
He is survived by his wife, LaVonne; son, Lynn (Brenda); grandsons, Morgan and Andrew; brother, Loy (Shirley); sisters, Leona (Harold) Hultquist, Ila Laaker, Inez Diers, June (Jim) Wood.
Visitation is Tues., July 12th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Pelan Funeral Services in Oakland. Family will be receiving friends.
The Funeral Service is Wed., July 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Salem Covenant Church.
Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Military Honors will be held at the cemetery.
Burial is at the Westside Cemetery.
Memorials suggested to the family for future designation.

Walter Eugene Bolln, 75, of Decatur, NE died on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.
Memorial services for Walt will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pender; Pastor Miles Ruch will be officiating.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Pender.

Joanne K. Bowman age 68, of Arizona formerly of Uehling passed away Monday June 6th at Southlake Village in Lincoln.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 29th from 6pm to 8pm at Ludvigsen’s Hooper Funeral Chapel in Hooper.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 on Thursday June 30 at Elim Lutheran Church in Swaburg.
Joan was born to Melvin and Lois ‘Meyer’ Bowman on July 2, 1947. She was baptized and confirmed at Elim Lutheran Church in Swaburg, and graduated from Uehling High School in 1965. She attended Midland University in Fremont and graduated from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a degree in Fashion Merchandizing in 1969.
Joanne was a lifelong businesswoman, who was employed as a buyer, merchandizer, and later in realty. Interests included travel (especially to Hawaii) and reading. She was a steadfast friend with one terrific sense of humor.
Joanne is the sister of Ron (Anita) Bowman of Fremont and aunt of Elizabeth (Ken) Halvorsen, Erik (Crystal) Bowman of Lincoln and Alicia (Erich) Schafer of Cedar Springs, Michigan. She is the great aunt of Jordan, Kaitlyn, Brigham, Ellianna, and Zahara. She was a cousin to a multitude.

Ray Cecil Hale, 80 a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away March 25, 2015 at his home. He was born March 17, 1935 in Decatur, Nebraska, the son of Cecil and Juanita Ploof Hale.
Ray worked as a certified heavy equipment operator, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking and wood burning. He had a love of animals and often took in rescue cats and dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary Hale, one brother Johnny Hale and one son-in-law Michael Nolan.
Survivors include his companion Cherokee Steinbach; six daughters Kristy White and husband Michael of Oakley, California, Rhonda Nolan of Lawndale, California, Beth Mathieu and husband Mark of Hawthorne, California, Ann Hale of Gardena, California, Heather Smith and husband John of Springdale, Arkansas and Dawn Steinbach of Deforest, Wisconsin; one brother Omer Hale and wife Muriel of Gold Hill, Oregon; one sister Betty Hale of Omaha, Nebraska; thirteen grandchildren Cori White, Shawn White, Vail White , Michelle Valles, Paul Nolan, Blake Mathieu, Katie Mathieu, Ashley Cruz, Amanda Cruz, Brian Steinbach, Jeremy Smith, Brandon Smith and Preston Smith twelve great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held Sat., July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur.
