Josh was baptized and confirmed in Christ at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oakland, Nebraska. He was a proud 2106 graduate of Oakland-Craig High School. Josh was currently a student at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, working toward a psychology degree.
Josh had a strong faith and a huge heart. He loved his family and friends. As a child he was active in cub scouts, baseball and hanging out at the pool. He loved the water and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time at Chief Lake in Michigan and Lake Cochrane, South Dakota while visiting his Grandparents.
When he was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 12, a great friendship developed between Josh and an awesome group of boys. His happiest times were with “the squad”.
